Alarm blaring at 3 AM, we questioned all our life choices—but the promise of a legendary sunrise kept us going.

The climb up Mount Batur in the dark was tough, but reaching the top just as the sky exploded in shades of orange and pink?

Absolutely worth it. Wrapped in blankets, sipping hot chocolate, and watching playful monkeys dart between the rocks, we soaked in every second.

Then came the real challenge—getting back down. Slipping, sliding, and laughing the whole way, we somehow made it in one piece. An adventure we’ll never forget! 🌄🐒🔥
